Project DAAN Logo

Overview

Project DAAN, a philanthropic initiative of AMOHA Galleria, is a global call to action. We invite individuals worldwide to donate artworks from their collections, including paintings, sculptures, and more, to support our mission to eliminate global hunger within the next decade. Proceeds from art auctions of donated works will fund "Mission Zero Hunger," providing food distribution for the underserved.

How It Works

  1. Donation: Anyone, including children and youth, can participate by donating their artwork to Project DAAN.
  2. Pickup: AMOHA Galleria arranges for the donated artworks to be picked up.
  3. Auction: Donated artworks are auctioned to raise funds for selected causes.
  4. Impact: Proceeds from the auction support initiatives addressing poverty, hunger, education, and housing.

Goals

  • Encourage philanthropy and social responsibility through art.
  • Provide a platform for artists to contribute to societal causes.
  • Raise funds for deserving initiatives, making a positive impact on communities.

Integrating Mission Zero Hunger with Project DAAN

Project Zero Mission Logo

Project DAAN is perfectly positioned to play a pivotal role in supporting and advancing the goals of Mission Zero Hunger: Uniting a Billion People for 3 Billion Meals a Day. The donation of the Artists’s creations through Project DAAN will be put up for sale, and the funds raised will be channeled into Mission Zero Hunger.

By participating in this mission, artists help transform their creative expressions into essential resources that advance Mission Zero Hunger. AMOHA’s gallery becomes a beacon of hope, where every artwork sold contributes to providing three billion meals a day, ensuring that no one suffers from hunger. Through this initiative, AMOHA continues to bridge the worlds of art and philanthropy, making a lasting impact on global food security. Visit http://hunger-zero-mission for more information.

AMOHA Art Residency Retreats

Another way for artists to participate in the noble cause is to join our AMOHA Art Residency Retreats in Rajasthan, India. The retreats are at our stunning Heritage Resort, the one of its kind, Six Senses Fort Barwara, a royal retreat in an ancient 14th century fort hotel next to the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Its spas are world-famous. It is also a great opportunity to meet and connect with other inspiring artists and art leaders.

In the art residency, we are inviting Indian and International artists and sculptors to come to Six Senses Fort Barwara for three to seven days. They can come individually or in groups anytime of the year that suits them. They only cover their own airfare and we take care of all the rest at the Fort. Each room at Fort Barwara is a large suite and can accommodate two or three people, in case you might like to bring a companion or family.

In addition to the stay, we cover all meals, drinks, spa, safari & transfer to hotel from New Delhi. We only have 48 suites. The cost for us for hosting is 1.2 lacs (USD 1500) per day in summers and 2.0 lacs (USD 2500) per day per suite in winters (Oct-Mar). The artist needs to give us a painting or sculpture or art work of an amount equivalent to their stay cost. We trust the artist completely to give what they deem best. We will be selling these paintings or sculptures to fund our Mission Zero Hunger to reach out to 3 billion people with a free meal each day.

We shall also be displaying them at our largest art gallery of 100,000 sq. ft in Delhi. Plus all artists will be given their own page on our website to upload their paintings and about themselves & their social media sites. We give the curator/coordinator 10% of the value as commission. Let us know if you may like to coordinate a residency anytime. Or just join us as an artist. Visit our AMOHA Galleria at:https://amohagalleria.com
